As twins we are alike and different, yet we both feel passionate about our shared vision!

Together we have created a book that will instruct, entertain, engage, and transform your relationship to laughter. It will stimulate you, as it did us, to create regular laughter habits, and add joy to all of your celebrations. Laughter Champions ourselves, we are committed to sharing the message that laughter truly is the best medicine. We've done the research. The evidence-based science is compelling. We've been building our own laughter habits and laughing with others for nearly two decades and the results are exciting.

Sarah Routman
With degrees in English, Photography and a Master’s in Adult Education, Sarah knew just what to do - she became a professional laugher! After years as a traditional classroom teacher and running two non-profits, she spent over two decades creating customized interactive trainings for diverse adult populations.

Sarah inspires and motivates individuals and professionals to engage in intentional laughter with a sense of childlike play for a vibrant, uplifting and empowering shift that has a ripple effect of positivity. She is a certified Laughter Yoga Leader and Teacher and was named a Laughter Ambassador by founder of Laughter Yoga, Dr. Madan Kataria.
Sarah provides an interactive experience and tools to put people in the driver’s seat of their attitudes so they can have the influence and impact they intend. Combining Laughter and leadership, Sarah is a champion of workplace wellness.

Rachael Siegelman
As a lawyer turned laughter coach, Rachael believes no matter how serious or studious you may start out, learning to laugh is a valuable life skill. Being a lawyer actually helped her to write this book, which contains hundreds of hours of her research. It has blossomed into a treasure trove of laughter lessons and includes a habit-based approach for anyone engaged in the study and practice of laughter.
Rachael is an accomplished student of personal development. She brings a deep reserve of knowledge from a vast number of disciplines into her laughter coaching. Her practice includes adults of all ages and people with all interest levels. She is inspired to empower all people to laugh for health and joy, especially teenagers and young adults.
Rachael continuously develops new Laughter Games with positive self-talk to enhance her students’ self-care and relationships. She delights in helping people design and track their own laughter and play habits as they master the skill of laughing out loud.
